When change comes true Clip_i10
While a person dreams of becoming someone else, norms drive him down to remain as he is. A person always longs for a new future, yet norms reject but sticking to an old past. We have been imprisoned since the moment we were born, yet, fortunately, we are capable to get back our freedom by the time we grow up and develop self-awareness. To my opinion, if you want to make a change, you ought to change the norms. All the rituals people are used to contribute in away or another to the covering of truth for which you seek and live. The habits that society accumulated and still accumulates make the matter too hard for you to distinguish truth from illusion. People are used to construct their social beliefs and precepts on the basis of the inherited culture and history which have not been yet validated by any reason. The later, which constitutes a threat for the mass, is usually, not to say always, betrayed by the patterns of dogmatic norms and traditions. Change is not therefore tolerated in homogenous societies where people are guided by virtue of their imitated experiences and way of life; yet we, as truth seekers, can’t help it simply because we were born with it. We have no choice but to revolt against any superstition or tendency to drive society towards exploiting the new generation to reproduce the same boring and stupid system of norms and mentalities. Some may claim that these have got several positive points in the sense that they foster social solidarity and tolerance in our communities; yet, if we look at the base, we will find out that that solidarity and tolerance are rooted in errors, mistakes, and illusions inherited by illiterate people in the form of habits wearing the cloth of holiness and greatness. I herby call every truth seeker on the earth to behave this way: First, analyze whatever thing you encounter before you dare to believe it. Second, revise and analyze all the knowledge you accumulated and build up new mental schemes with maximum immunity and protection. Third, don’t keep just defending yourself but take a step forward to attack any unreasonable mentalities and models of thought and behaviour. By this way, the change you long for will surely come true.
